Empty container operation of container terminal

empty container operation of container terminal is mainly divided into two parts: empty container entry and exit operation and empty container management

I. empty container mobilization operation. There are two ways for the entry of empty containers at the wharf: the entry of empty containers by unloading ships and the entry of empty containers by checking the power supply and instigating the light to light up. Before the unloading of empty containers and entering the site, the planner of the dock yard must arrange the empty container stacking plan. The principle of the plan arrangement is that empty containers are stacked separately according to different container holders according to different sizes and types of containers. The dock and the ship must handle the equipment handover formalities when unloading containers

there are two kinds of empty containers entering the site through the inspection port, one is the empty container designated by the shipping company for export shipment, and the other is the imported heavy container, which is unpacked and returned to the dock. If the container is designated by the shipping company, it shall be stacked according to the export ship name and voyage according to the stacking plan made by the yard planner, different sizes and different container types; If the imported containers are returned to the dock yard after unpacking, they shall be stacked separately according to the stacking plan made by the yard planner and the container holder. When empty containers enter the inspection port, the dock inspection port and the carrier must go through the formalities of document presentation

It only needs to bring conventional accessories to be able to

second, empty containers, which is a difficult time for battery enterprises. There are mainly two ways for empty containers to exit the dock: loading empty containers and leaving the dock through the inspection port

there are mainly two kinds of empty containers for shipment, one is the empty container designated by the shipping company for export shipment, and the other is the empty container loaded on the barge. The dock container manager shall arrange the shipping plan according to the work contact list issued by the agent, the empty container shipping list or the "export shipping order" provided by the shipping company. The dock stowage planner selects all or part of the planned empty containers according to the stowage plan of the container administrator and the "station receipt" provided by the agent, combined with the stowage of the ship name and voyage. For the empty containers that cannot be loaded on the ship on the voyage, the container administrator shall make a record for the next voyage

there are three main ways for empty containers to exit through the inspection port:

(1) door to door empty container lifting, mainly the lifting and transportation of empty containers for export cargo. After the empty container is transported to the container point for packing, the raw materials, new processes, new formulas and new models used for the first time are trial produced and the safety and health control items are tested. The heavy container is transported back to the wharf for shipment and export. When the empty container door/door leaves the port, the cargo owner or inland carrier shall submit a written application to the container agent. The container agent shall issue the "outbound container equipment handover form" and "inbound container equipment handover form" to the shipper or inland carrier according to the "export container pre allocation list". The cargo owner or inland carrier shall pick up the empty containers from the dock yard by handing over the outgoing container equipment

(2) single lifting of empty containers refers to the lifting and transportation of empty containers to the container yard (CY) outside the wharf. For example, the shipping company carries the empty containers to the storage yard outside the port, and withdraws the leased containers, etc. The terminal container manager shall ship the containers according to the "empty container delivery contact list" issued by the shipping company or its agent. The contact list shall generally indicate the container holder, the carrier fleet, the flow direction to the yard, etc., and indicate the settlement method of the expenses

(3) empty containers need to be lifted to the wharf for inspection, repair, cleaning, fumigation, transportation and other reasons. The freight forwarder or inland carrier shall submit a written application to the container agent, and the container agent shall issue the "outbound container equipment handover form" and "inbound container equipment handover form" to the freight forwarder or inland carrier according to the entrustment relationship or relevant agreement. The cargo party or inland carrier shall pick up the empty containers from the dock yard with the "outgoing container equipment handover form", and the dock shall send the containers with the agent's work contact form. When empty containers leave the site, the terminal shall complete the container equipment handover form and handover procedures with the ship or carrier

III. empty container management in storage yard. The basic stacking principle of empty containers stored in the dock yard is to stack them separately according to the different holders and sizes of containers. The wharf is equipped with a dedicated empty container stacking area, which can generally stack 4 to 5 layers of empty containers. When unpacking occurs in the dock, the unpacked boxes should be merged in time and stacked according to the stacking requirements
